Nice article. The section about the dealer not really caring about upping the trade-in value doesn't surprise me. It seems most Hummer dealers have an attitude when it comes to price breaks.

I purchased my H3 fromn the dealership mentioned in the article, and dealt with the same salesman. While I expected the typical 'HUMMER" sales experience, I can say that I received anything but! I too traded in a Jeep (2002 Grand Cherokee Overland), but was offered a very fair price on both the trade and the H3.
Service after the sale (dealing directly with Peter) has been exemplary.
I'm not the type of person that would go out of his way to stick up for a dealership, but do not want to see Peter receive a black eye from a single sales experience.

did they seem to deal with you on the price of your trade or was it take or leave it type of deal?
