Off Road Grill and Roof Lights

Pretty sure this subject has been discussed before but I can't seem to find the thread.

Curious if anyone is using both the Grill Mounted and Roof Rack Offroad lights at the same time. I purchased both, installed the rook rack lights and have discovered that it appears that both share the need for the same relay block connection, along with the on/off switch placement. Do you have to splice on in to the order and operate at sametime? I believe someone may have linked the grill mounts to hibeams? How?
