I adjusted it aprox 5 turns.From lock to lock you have aprox 1.5 inches from hitting the swaybar or the A arm. there is plenty of room. The guy that mounted the tires was surprised as well. When looking at them before they were mounted he said that they wouldn't fit.Like I said he was surprised.Oh when adjusted to 1.5 inches measure under the front fender then the back. There should be aprox 1" difference. Keep in mind 35's will fit without cranking the bars.I just wanted to get the nose up a little. The actual size is 315/75/16 Mickey Thompson MTX.I have had BFG, Wranglers, Dunlop, Brigstone All terrains ,Mud terrains etc... but these tires are by far one of the most quiet tires I have ever owned. 35" that is.If I had to compare, I would say they compare to BFG All terrains. Not to say the others were not good tires they all have their good and bad points. I don't know how they will hold up in the long run time will tell. They ride smooth as glass! My advice is to do research. Ask questions and decide what tires work best for you. Keep in mind that these or any other 35" tire is not going to look that massive because of the size of the vehicle. With a 4" lift or so it would look more impressive. 35's as you can see fill in the wheelwells and give a stockier stance.

Hey Humv... how about a pic of a 35 inch spare? do you think its possible? i'm contemplating about installing a nitto terra 305/70-16 including the spare tire. just worried that it might hit the wiper.

I just mounted the spare last week and it clears just fine! No need to space it out at all.It is about 3/4 inch or so from hitting the wiper.Keep in mind that my tires are on 7.5 inch rims.Having a matching spare is nice to have.When I purchased mine it was under the condition that they would fit.Don't know if your going on line to purchase or at your local store? Don't let a store tell you some BS that they can't test fit etc... I had a couple tell me that and I walked. Had one tell me without even looking at my vehicle that they wouldn't fit and that a 285 wouldn't even fit. Thats what was on it from the factory!

Dude aweso H3, best I've seen. I personally think 315's (35's) on H3 looks great without lift, in fact lifting it would take way the great center of gravity these H's have especially with the 35's.

Thank you. All I plan to do next is add some lighting. I have lifted Jeeps,Toyotas,etc...been there done that. Don't think I'll lift this one. I did put a jack under the front and simulated a 4" lift.It looked pretty darn good with the 35s. I haven't put the back on yet because I'm not sure I like the way they look on the back;Personal choice. I ordered them from the dealer at a cost of $86.00 for all four and installed them myself.$86.00 was including tax.You might be able to find cheaper elsewhere. The ones that I have on are as close as I would want to mount on there without a lift.I think that a true 35" tire would have to be close to what you would call a 37".A 37" tire would probably measure close to a 35" such as a BFG. That I know would not fit. I'm not a tire expert by no means,but I don't know of anyone that makes a "true" 35" tire.
Keep in mind the bigger the tire and wheels the more weight and rolling mass you have to contend with as well.
I have about 2500 miles on my tires right now and still love them!

The "true" measurement of these tires are 34.5 inches in diameter.

I went to http://www.1010tires.com and the measurement of yours and my tires (diameter & width) are almost the same. Given that, I'm going to try at least if we do decide to get the H3. It's odd but visually my set looks larger.

Are you planning to put those tires and rims on an H3? An H3 is six lug and the set you are showing is an 8 lug? Just checking.Perhaps your intent was to purchase a new set of rims or are you going to mount them on stock rims as i did? Keep in mind the offset and width of the rim may make a difference when turning lock to lock.

5 turns? I thought 2 to 2.5 turns was the max you wanted to do. Will 2-2.5 turns allow for the 35's to fit or do I need 5 full turns?

2.5 turns will fit the 35's. You do not want to crank it 5 times.
