I hope everyone understands that not every bulletin will affect every vehicle.
Bulletins are issued on problems found in the field on a limited number of vehicles. One of the problems is the automatic replacement of parts by technicians when not necessary (last bulletin is a good example).

Where did you loose them? Could it be a solenoid(s)? Those 4T transmissions have been around for years. Tell 'em you want a replacement, I would never trust a technician to rebuild a trans, unless he/she knows what they are doing. Too many checks (mechanical and air) for most to understand. A replacement trans is an easy in/out for almost any tech.

Thanks for the update f5fstop. It's been cold up here.... will be negative -30-40 F all week. My doors have not been closing and funny...there is a bulletin about it! Go figure. Also have been having beaucoup problems with STAB SYS FAILED, SERV 4WD, TRACTION CONTROL FAILED warnings! I take it in next week for first oil change and I will have them take care of these issues (that apply). I will love the looks on their faces when I hand them my list of info (only because they are a GM dealer, not a Hummer dealer. They might be a little challenged at first as they see only a few Hummers up here in Fairbanks. It's actually kinda scarey to think they will actually do a good job as they couldn't even align my head/fog lights properly! Luckiliy it's all under warranty!!! Anyway, thanks again.

I think I've got the "no power light for On Star" Picked up the truck on Friday and no light still. Thought On Star was just slow to activate.
