It just started tonight on my way home. I turned the wiper switch to the mist position, which is supposed to swipe once and stop. Well, it swiped several times then stopped right in the middle of the windshield. Any of the delay settings do the same. Swipe several times then stop somewhere in the middle of the windshield and won't start again unless I turn the switch off then back on. They stop in a different position each time.

Has anyone had any problems like this? Or can anyone give me any suggestions? The only modification I have made to the electrical system is to add a AUX input (Soundgate AUXGMV3) to the stock stereo. Any input would be much appreciated.

Only thing that strikes me this early in the morning is the wiper module is broken. Could be a BCM, but if I was a tech, I would go after the module first.

mine did a random swipe the other day! I didn't even have to touch the switch! If it happens again I'll have the dealer look into it for me.

Do you think it could have anything to do with the Aux input? Is there anything in the small radio harness related to the wipers?
