Okay guys I'm under way. So far done this week. Grill, fuel door, tail light gaurds. Up next rims and side steps. Any more idea's? Sorry the truck just went through a laser car wash (and it didn't do that good of a job).

I want too. But I'm short and we're expecting our first here soon. Wife would kill me if she had to jump in.
Thanks

Looks great!! i told the dealer to take my side steps off and give me credit for them. its not as easy to get into the truck anymore but it looks much cleaner
That must have been one FAT person to to slam into your basketball pole and bend it that way! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
Good looking truck. BTW, NO carwash does well with black. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I told mine that we would try it for a couple of weeks. A couple of weeks quickly becomes 3 years http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I'm trying tonight when she gets home from work. She's been asking for an H3 so maybe this will keep her out of mine (she has a VUE now, so it will be a huge step up). We just got married so I promised her to let her into the Hummer family with one of her own. Now if I could talk her into a 05 sitting on the lot somewhere (H2), instead of that H3.

Yeah it was me. HA HA HA.
Laser washes usually do "okay" but this time it even missed some soap. I just got done hand washing it so now I can't feel my fingers.

I'm going through the same process toward "Stealth Mode." http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Have you looked into these smoked out marker lights? There are five sets of them on E-Bay @ $109 each. Wish I could see them on a rig! Why don't YOU try 'em and post some pics?

LMAO. Yeah that's a big problem right there. I thought about blacking them out and using a better personalized tag but I couldn't really think of a good one. So I just used the ones off the Benz I traded in.

Don't Line-X your skid plate. It will come off on the first rock you hit.
I don't think you can do the mirror caps because the coating is so thick. You may not be able to get them back on. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

If I was blackening mine, I'd clean it real well, prime it and rattle can it. This way you won't cry the first time you crack it and you can always touch it up when you get home.
If you aren't planning on going offroad, do what you want because it won't matter.

i rattle canned my skid plate with the duplicolor truck bed coating. it will give it the appearance of line x but a lot cheaper. and as KenP said it will scratch the first rock you hit. only 6.00 a can at pepboys.
