Anyone have first hand info on what it would cost to have an entire truck painted one solid color? It would be a differnt color than what is currently there, so door panels and everything would have to be torn apart.

I was quoted between $ 10,500.00 & $ 12,000.00 when I was considering painting mine. These prices came from 3 seperate paint shops.

I guess I should have clarified. It's not for an H2, but is for something about the same size. I was figuring about 7 or 8K. Thanks for the info guys.

Tim, give me $300 and help me shake the cans and we can take care of it in a weekend. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Ooh, yeah. We could build an auto can shaker. and then have a little bracket that would hold and spray from 3 cans at one time with a lever that would make it less fatiguing for the fingers/hands. I know where we could get some tape to mask off things with.

With a little bisqueen and some pvc we could make a driveway paintbooth and hang a box fan in the top so that it would be a "down draft" paint booth.

Yea, It's a lot of money, but to have it done right, it will cost you. Stripping & re-assembeling the truck probably accounted for 60% of the cost.
