Not sure that will even take care of it. You could leave it parked in the garage 24 X 7 http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

It is amazing what people will do. These are the same people who would think it is the end of the world if you accidentally door dinged their car http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

No cameras...but it sure would be nice to catch the person in the act.

Seriously, there have been people here that mentioned installing security cams in the truck to catch the perps. You'd have to "Find" for it, I can't remember where the thread was.

Curious as to where this happened.

Keep it dirty, put some greenpeace stickers on it , get biodiesel and Hybrid emblems to put on it and a bike rack, then finally a Phish sticker. That should cover all bases. The hippie, liberal eco-nazis will leave it alone.

Put a ladder on the roof rack and "union carpenters local 123" bumper sticker. They won't mess with it if they think you use it for work.

I was always a fan of this security measure (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/232777.stm)...its designed for car-jacking, but I bet you could set up a motion sensor--ha! Is it legal? no...

Seth, I totally agree and keep a $100 deductible on my policy. Staying in it won't prevent damage. A 5150 homeless guy intentionally rammed a shpping cart into me while I was parked on the street, sitting in my car, talking on my cell phone. I guess he thought I was using the phone to broadcast demonic thoughts to him, or something.
There is a protective clear layer that you can apply. It is designed to prevent stones from chipping your paint. I have no idea how it will hold up to keying. I believe it can be pulled off and a new coat applied as needed.
