Hey, I took that pic of the VA Beach truck. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

HummerGuy, thanks for the pic. We've talked about Line-Xing our truck exactly where you have the black. It gives us a good idea.

Actually, I didn't take that pic. WHO took that pic?!

Hmmm, the "North Haven" one looks to have a CT plate on it which makes it about 15 minutes from here. Never saw it. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

Hummer Guy

Keep in mind that's retail price...and as far as the mind-set of ebay bidders, I have no idea. But, the reserve is set significantly below the buy it now price...

Brian,

Why does Sewell suggest not to get the Air Suspension package? Even this loaded H2 does not have it. Does your dealer have a reason for selling them this way? I am curious because Sewell suggested that I not get it.

Who did you speak with at Sewell? We typically don't stock a lot since most people don't want to pay that high of price for a compressor and minimal increase in ride-quality. Not that it matters to a dealership (especially who does warranty work) but the air suspensions aren't as reliable than the coil springs. Also, most H2 drivers aren't towing more often than not. I'm sure there are people on here who swear by their air suspensions...but personally, I would pocket the money instead. Sewell offers to order any vehicle combination a customer desires...

Salesman with same name as you over at Plano. I called them in decent amount (like 4 days after take home) of time to explain to them that I had a problem with rear sagging low and not being able to get trailer out of my sloped driveway.

Hitch scraped so badly that I was having to use my truck to get the trailer out of the driveway. I have an adjustable hitch, but spare get in way if I try to raise it where it needs to be to correct problem.

Their reponse (instead of getting me one with air after only 4 days of take home) was to use a darn hitch extender to get trailer out of driveway and so I could raise hitch up high enough.

Now when I tow trailer down the highway, I get sway (yes, I have stabilzer bars for trailer hitch) all over the road and have to slow down and piss everyone off behind me.

It really irratates me about this because I told them prior to purchase that I intended to use the H2 for off road use and I tow a large camper trailer.

Thx for responding...

Although we both share the Sewell name, we are in fact two separate entities. However, we are all part of one organization, and I will contact them about this. In your situation, I would definately suggest the air-suspension. Offroading and towing often are both alone reasons why I would suggest the package. Most of our customers however do neither, which is why we don't carry many in stock. I will let them know that these are two reasons why someone would want/need the air suspension package.

Brian,

Coming from a paint and body guy, I'm here to tell you that pic is probably one of the hottest, most tasteful H2's I have ever seen.

I absolutely love that.

I think he is looking for just the rings. Tom can get them for him. Sadly I lost his private email address or I would ask him. I don't know if he answers the Hummer Products emails.

I was just curious. I really wanted to check into the price of those rims... a little more than I thought they would be, but look good.

Thanks for the info.

I like the color scheme. It is sharp.

I am not sure that the black bumpers--the plastic part-would look that good in the sun. It seems like they were just painted over with balck and clear---no fill?

As has been said, the e-bay price is crazy high but there is an ass for every toilet seat.

Sorry for no responses, I thought this thread died a while ago. We send out to get the beadlocks. I'm not sure of the company off hand, but I know it took a while after ordering and they were pretty pricey. That truck sold about two weeks ago.
