I think mine is at 15min. If you have snow/ ice on the winshield, this should be enough time. If you're tlaking for other reasons, that I don't know.

Wow, is there an autostart feature that I'm not aware of? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif I better read my manual more carefully.
If people are using this feature on a regular basis, this would explain some of the low gas mileage numbers.

being up in canada most of my life, i've put a remote start on all my vehicles. i've found an 18 min setting works best for me. usually don't have to press it twice(unless it drops below
-30 celsius) most of the time i hit the remote start, get ready to go, and head to the vehicle before the time expires anyway. only other thing to think about is when you set it to start every so often while you're out(bar, mall, etc) so that when you're ready to go, it takes less time for your vehcile to warm up.

You can set the auto start for different times to shut off .I thought that was common knowledge.

It's an add on aftermarket. It must be a cold weather thing 'cause we don't have too many of those things in these here parts.

You can also set the air conditioning on to cool car down . My sister lived in AZ now lives in NM she has one.

442,
The question everybody wants to know, is it standard on our H3's and we just don't know how to use it? Or is it an aftermarket accessory?

Its aftermarket .You can have the dealer put it in at purchase. I had the guy do it when I had the exlipse avn installed.Used original key fob you hit lock twice it starts .Some new cars and trucks come with it from the factory .I dont think you can with the H3.
