Avic D-1 Custom BacKground

Does anyone know how to make custom backgrounds for the Pioneer Avic-D1 when using a mac. I have seen several websites that explain the software to be used but they are all for PC's.

Hmm.. I didn't know it was complicated. Here is mine...

Download this image and edit it with photoshop... just use it as a guideline for the res/etc. Then burn to a cd, with the file in a directory labeled BG. Should work...

I just read the tutorial on avic411... the d1 doesn't have the feature where you can just load custom backgrounds from a cdr like the n2?

If it doesnt.... just use virtual pc (http://www.apple.com/macosx/applications/virtualpc/) - the program that got the most use out of all the apps on my powerbook. :D
