I was making this tonight ,I thought I would share.
It so good you must and will eat 2 big plates.I only make it every couple of months.I cant wait.MMMMMmmmm. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Broccoli & Spaghetti

In large skillet brown 1 LB boars head bacon (cut bacon into 1 inch pieces & separate) in 2 tablespoons of olive oil add 1 bulb garlic (crushed/chopped) set aside.(add garlic when bacon is 90% cooked)

In large pot boil 1 large bunch (3 or 4 big heads) of cut up broccoli in salted water until tender. Remove broccoli, reserving water and add to skillet with 2 tablespoons of butter 1 cup of seasoned Italian bread crumbs, salt & pepper
(To taste 1/2 teaspoon each give or take) and 4 cups of reserved water, simmer 10 minutes covered.

Cook 1 to 1 1/2 pound barilla spaghetti using rest of reserved water adding as necessary. Drain & pour Broccoli mixture over spaghetti, stir, cover let sit 5~10 minutes, stir, sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

I sometimes split sause in 1/2 and use 3/4 pound spaghetti. Then freeze extra sause to have a couple weeks later.
Takes a hour to prepare

Sorry, I'd try it, but I have a rule... if it takes longer to make then to eat, it's not worth it. :crying: Is there an "instant" version of the recipe out there?

Its worth the time and the 2nd time you have it the sauce is ready to go in a few minutes :excited: or have it once with your friends :grouphug:

If you eat by yourself split the sauce up ito 4 portions use between 1/3 and 1/2 pound pasta and have 4 seperate big portions.
