Today I was out driving (being a mall queen hehe) when I spotted a Yellow H3 parked and just sitting there. Well, I had my camera with me and decided to take some pictures of my Yellow H2 parked side by side with the H3 for you guys. I even ducked down and took a few shots under it (best I could it was in a public parking place ya know lol) So here ya go hope you like em. I resized them 800x600 for posting here, but if you want the original 2514x1960 images I zipped them all up and you can get them by clicking Here (http://69.93.98.85/4.zip)

sweet thanks for sharing.
It looks like the H3 has more ground clearance than the H2? Maybe it's just the angle of the shot. Refering to 2nd & 3rd shots from the top.
Is the rear window retractrable into the swingout tailgate?
It's like a mini-Me! DAmn, i will have a hard time telling them apart on the streets!! Does it have a rear air suspension and locker like H2??

The rock rails are definately higher. I would say the rock rails on the h3 are about 4" higher than on the H2.
I was very impressed with how it looked in person, and though the shots underneath arent that great in the pics, I did look around for quite a while under there and everything is protected and tucked away as it should be.
I wasnt interested in the h3 before, but now I think I may buy one for my gf.
Much better than I expected overall.

ILMAO, we almost did the same thing. We bought the SUT and had the nissan Z, but with winter, that's a bad car to leave the garage with. so we went and looked at the pathfinder and loved it, but she said what about the H3? GOOD POINT! SO we waited and i drove her to work throughout the winter on those bad days and now ordered the H3. I don't know who is more excited, her or me? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks for the follow up. Camera angles can be deceiving. It's just in those first shots of the Yellow one the front skid plate looks higher. I'm completly happy with my H2 and after doing a local run this weekend where an H1 lost his trans and another one had some kind of issue I don't need to look any further than my driveway for the truck of my dreams.

Phil your absolutely right about the rock rails. I was just assuming that there were going to be rock rails on the finished h3 and that if they were, they would be higher than the ones on the h2.
But what was on the one that was parked next to me in that picture was just some kmart plastic http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

th rails and all of the underbody protection is an option... even whne you order the Adventure package, it is not standard. Check out hummer's site when you build one and you have to add all 3 options. Kinda strange it wasn't set up as options packages like the H2.

GM did a pretty good job. The h3 looks agile to me and will probably do well on most trails.
I'm still waiting for the Jeep Rescue though, I hope they make that concept, very cool AND will make GM and AMG continue to improve their product.
F350 or Ranger? I'm glad they made it with the Hummer "look". I wonder if they ride good.

Well, I'm disappointed. It looks like Hummer was more interested in keeping the price in line with the Grand Cherokee line than with a quality product that lives up to the Hummer name. I think that people would have been willing to pay an extra $5000 or so to get some of the "standard" equipment on an H2. The fender flares are totally out of character with the Hummer line, and I definitely don't like that rear hatch. For that extra $5000, I would go out and get a used H2 instead.
Stacy
Are those DRL's or driving lights? They appear to be larger than the H2's.

For all your guys talking trash about our friend parking in a HC spot while in Moab after getting back from the trails at 1:30a with broken windows (motors, not glass) this is pretty dual-standards, eh? Y'all have all made comments about the H3 and not about the dude who parked in a crowded shopping mall parking lot. At least our friend parked in a hotel that he was staying at at 1:30am, not a busy parking lot during peak hours. I'm supprised we haven't heard from the guys from the H2ML! You suck!

So two wrongs make it right? If you saw other people driving off a cliff would you follow? Probably in your case and ya know the world would not be worse off for the loss. There is a huge difference between parking in a HC space for 10-15 minutes and parking in one for the better part of the night and the following day. In this case the driver was looking at something of interest and was present if he needed to move his rig to accommodate a handicapped person. Your friend (idiot) left his H1 unattended for hours you can’t compare the two situations.

Let's start with the HML posted by ericward, April 23, 2005 2:04am:
"...BIG DEAL! It was midnight by the time we got off the trail...
Now since one of your ass clowns doesn't care where you guys park, why come here? Nothing going on over there, huh?
But wait, there's more since you want to rehash this. Jerry's truck stayed in that spot ALL night! Dallion did this:
"Well, I had my camera with me and decided to take some pictures of my Yellow H2 parked side by side with the H3 for you guys". Now mister rocket scientist, I'm sure it didn't take him ALL night to snap those pics. Aren't you, or are you too dense to see that?
I see only one available handicap parking space available next to the H1. But look closely at the H2/H3 pics and you will see atleast two available for the very SHORT time it took to snap a few pics. One next to the H2 and one in front of it. And as a bonus, there's an empty spot in front of the H3. Is your brain getting this ass wipe?
And lastly, look close, very close at the pic of the H1. It's parked over part of the wheelchair ramp!
Take your whining somewhere else little boy.

Eric Ward aka 4U2NV-
Listen, I'm sorry your boy got dogged out for size by the S&B over there at the HML for parking his broken window H1 overnite in a handicap spot. Granted I probably wouldn't have given it a second thought to do the same thing and ask permission to park there from the motel staff if my rig's window was broke and I had over $25K in equipment inside the truck and was concerned that it might get stolen.
Regardless, as the handicap spot relates to this post, it appears the guy has his H2 running with his emergency brake engaged (you can see the rear lights lit). I'm sure he didn't leave his car parked there but did it so everyone could see a quick comparison of the H2 and H3 since no one has ever posted the two side by side...
Oh, just a thought, girl. I don't know that guy and don't really care about that whole thing. But you came here because you thought you saw some hypocracy and started mouthing off. You're the one I have a problem with.
And be careful, there's no higher power that's going to protect your ass here. It very well may be hunting season, little one.

Well it sure didn't take long for you to reply - you prick! I just posted that like an hour ago and already have lots of replies.
the fact of the matter is that in both cases of parking in a HC spot, no hurt no fowel. When Jerry parked in the spor of the private parking lot in the middle of the night with no handicaped people staying in the hotel, that wasn't that big of a deal. When this guy in Houston parked next to the H3, that wasn't that big of a deal either. "I'ont care." I just thought it's funny that the prick with the infeiority complex that both posts here and one the HML over reated.
Also, you're still a prick. I might be a PAA too but at least I don't have an infeority issue. Like I said before, they have medication for that. You suck. You're an ass hole....even more than me.

The funny thing is that I don't care. I just think it's funny to mess with you. It's only entertaining because you're a total ass hole too. I don't let stuff like this bother me.
Hey *******, might want to check your pants: your ass hole might be bleeding because you're way to uptight! If you want, you could sell your H2 and buy a Hummer and it'll make you feel better and you'll calm right down!

While your idiot friend left his rig parked in the handicapped spot in front of a hotel from, what did you just say, 1:30am until at least 10:00am the next morning. Did he gets his ass up in the morning and try to hustle around to find a fix, or at least move his ****? F*ck no, he didn't. He lounged around on his lazy ass while at least 20 people(that I saw AND heard) passed by and commented on the "******* that parked in the handicapped spot". You should try taking it off road and run over something. You'd have to take your step bars off though. Just kidding.
In all seriousness, I didn't have a problem with you. I just wanted to poke fun at the guy who had a problem with my buddy doing the same thing. It worked. BTW - nice truck. You even have a tree stump launcher that isn't dented. I'm not sure what they're really called but basically it's designed so when you run into a tree stump from lack of groung clerence, it'll launch you over the stump. You should try taking it off road and run over something. You'd have to take your step bars off though. Just kidding.
In all seriousness, I didn't have a problem with you. I just wanted to poke fun at the guy who had a problem with my buddy doing the same thing. It worked. I don't know if I interduced myself..I'm a Hummer owner who has a bad attitude, a tendency to be a PAA and an overwhelming urge to talk **** to someone who was messing with my buddy. No offence intended to you. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
You may be a Hummer owner but you’re the kind of prick that gives the rest of us a bad name. Having a HC sticker because of a lame knee is a poor excuse. What’d you do fall of your tricycle? Sports injury haha you probably twisted your knee running to the bathroom to wipe the sperm from your chin. Off-roading is getting to be a touchy subject in Moab because of ass-holes like you and your friend tearing up the place, not staying trails and generally disrespecting the locals and there establishments. As for your comment of no one got hurt, well perhaps but an elderly couple one who was using a walker and her husband who was in a wheel chair were inconvenienced as a result of not being able to park in a spot designated for them. It may not be a big deal to you but to those who require the spots it is a big deal. They had to park in the street. How do I know this I held the door open while they entered the Gonzo this was around the 8a.m hour. Your friends complete lack of responsibility to get his ass up out of bed and move his rig is completely unforgivable. I don’t care what he had in his crappy H1 there were plenty of other parking spaces available, perhaps not at 1am but certainly in the early morning spots became available in what you call a private lot. You may not have a problem with someone on this forum but lots of us have issues with you and your kind. Do us all a favor and crawl back under whatever rock you came out from.

The funny thing is that since we got back from Moab you've been crying the whole time about where someone parked. WHO CARES? Since I got back from Moab, I've been playing with my truck, sharing pictures with friends, cleaning the truck, ect. You're still crying.
Go grab yourself a tissue and shut the **** up. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Ohhh, this is getting old. I know you have a difficult time grasping any concepts other than penis-pumping, but there's really a moral to this story. And that would be THAT YOUR DUMB ASS FRIEND PARKED IN A HANDICAPPED SPACE WITH COMPLETE DISREGARD FOR THE PEOPLE THAT TRULY NEEDED IT & THE NEGATIVE IMAGE IT PORTRAYS TO PEOPLE THAT SEE A HUMMER WITHOUT HANDICAPPED PLATES OR PLACARDS PARKED IN A HANDICAPPED SPACE!!! It's very sad that you're so god damn dense that you can't understand the ramifications of Jerry's self-centered actions and lack of common sense that has given all Hummer owners another black mark. Again, I will ask why didn't he just fold in his mirror and park up tight against another Hummer, slide out the passenger side, lock the doors, then get up early to try to fix the problem. Instead he did none of those and basically thumbed his nose at everyone. I still can't understand why he didn't get his lazy ass up at 7am and move his pwecious wittle baby to another less conspicuous parking spot than the HANDICAPPED ONE RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL!! But, NO, he didn't give a **** how his actions would effect others. Selfish prick.
BTW, Jerry doesn't sound like the kind of guy that comes prepared for wheeling. Why didn't he bring tools, spare parts, wire, etc, just in case something went wrong? Why could he take the door panel off of that thing and trace out his problem? There can't be that many wires in that harness that someone couldn't figure it out.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif Very piss poor.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif ... hmmm, maybe he's not smart enough to?
And you , Eric, are the kind of ******* that I'd be tempted to push into the cacti.

Hey Eric, what's the story with the H1? What, you couldn't afford an H2? I love how you young prick H1 owners that buy them just to be cool like to say **** about how much more the H1 costs than the H2. But you bought a POS that cost less than a new H2, and you still couldn't afford it because you have to resort to steal quarters from the car washes just so you can wash the POS.

Hey *******, might want to check your pants: your ass hole might be bleeding because you're way to uptight! If you want, you could sell your H2 and buy a Hummer and it'll make you feel better and you'll calm right down!

It's good to know that you're an ass hole to everyone, not just me. You're even a dick head to an H2 guy that stopped and took pictures for you of the H3.
As far as the cost: don't be jelous that I can afford to buy a real Hummer when I was 21. Since you have no idea what I actuallly drive, what I paid, or what I have into it, it's a pretty dumb thing for you to say that I couldn't aford an H2. Maybe I'll sell my Hummer and buy a couple H2's? A good friend of mine has an H2 (I like it) and he doesn't pay nearly what I do. that's like saying I bought a Ferrari because I couldn't afford a Camero.
You're a moron - and it's quite entertaining to **** with you. You're easily offended. Maybe you're just jelous that someone half your age can afford twice the truck you can?

WTF are you talking about? Eric, you're so god damn stupid it hurts just reading your posts.
Why would anyone be jealous of someone that has relied upon their parents' money, never done anything on their own and now sells stereos at Good Guys(or wherever the f*ck you "work").
If you sell your rig you just might be able to buy a new Jeep Liberty. That would be a better fit for your wheeling abilities. I heard you pretty much suck at wheeling, anyway.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
Don't get excited. You're not offending me, you're just being a pain in the ass. That must be a new experience for you- being the pain in the ass instead of taking it in the ass and biting the pillow or riding crop or red rubber ball jammed in your mouth.
Now make yourself useful and go stock the shelves.

You have no idea what you're talking about. I bought a brand new 2003 H1 wagon with all the goodies, winch, tinted windows, leather, other garbage for 69K. Now given an H2 is over 50k I hardly think you could sell your old beat up h1 and buy 2 h2's.
Besides, I've had both an H1 and a 2 and the H1 was such a piece of ****, always in the shop. Don't let your truck be your ego for you, create your own confidence.
