A group of great guys up here in Washington wanna take some guys out on the trail to put to rest what the rest of the 4x4 world calls a joke the 'h2'. I drive a jeep and some of the others drive Toyotas. This is no joke if you would like to go strut your stuff, post up
!! The way I figure if we can get a old scout through the trails we should have no problem getting a slightly larger slightly heavier H@ through. We are experienced and will do our best to help you keep from breaking.

I have aboot 4-5 other employees with Tacos and Jeeps. I think they'll love the ideal.

Too far, too many kids, angry hummer wife, wish I could go http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif I love challenges.

Don't get me wrong this is not a challenge it is an oppertunity to wheel with others who enjoy the sport. I am completley open schedule wise trying to think of a good place we can fit these H2 through most wheeling in washington is not even accesable by H2's. I think maybe we could make a weekend out of it and run the naches trail or shoe string, both have been run by full sizes for years. We will have to wait for srpring but that will give us lots of planning time.

We go down to Brown's Camp in the Tillamook National Forest. They have about 10 trails, some pretty challenging, lots of rocks and some mud. it's good most of the year.

Jan feb would be great. I can lead the pack in brown's camp, I go there all the time. DRTY goes there too. It would be fun. Then maybe we could hit up Sand Lake for fun. Dennis can stay over at my house http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_redface.gif I have a big bed... http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Phil, Phil. You must not have had your green tea yet this morning.

I would doubt this kid even has a license yet much less be driving around in a Jeep. And you are right, he is a disgrace to Jeep owners as I have owned them in the past but have been lucky enough to upgrade to first class.

You sure showed Buck, didn't you http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif I have had people out on the roads to the trails stop me and give me their number because they want to wheel with me. It is always delivered with a sneer. THen I see these same people struggling on obstacles I cakewalk over. If you guys remember my second Oregon offroading thread http://elcova.com/groupee/forums?a=tpc&s=2826088551&f=5106011751&m=1776032915 There was a nice obstacle I had a bit of trouble getting over because I was so wide (also the mud was so slick it was hard to stay on the off camber line I wanted withour sliding out). A couple of Jeep guys stopped to watch and then helped out with some pointers. In the end they said they were pretty impressed with what it could do stock. On another part of the trail, the jeep and taco had a lot of trouble, and I cakewalked through it. I almost had to winch them through, but in the end they made it without. I am the only one of my friends with an H2, the rest run jeeps, Tacos, Fourrunners, and even one Samurai. It is fun to wheel with different trucks, as long as the people are nice and not all white trashy http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I have wanted to wheel with some h2's since they came out in the name of fun not in anyway do i wish for your dimise. I think it would be great fun. I do have a very well set up Rubicon but that is besides the point I am just lookin for a good weekened spent in the woods, ya know. Yes I have some opinions on H2's basicaly becuase they cost so much and offer the same thing a tahoe or yukon does but who cares you could afford one and I could not. Cut the crap let go play in the woods hu?

Sorry, but off-roading is not a sport. A sport is an activity involving physical exertion of some kind. Wheeling is a recreational hobby. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy wheelin as much as the next guy/gal, but I had to clarify that for anyone who was getting the idea that they were now apart of an athletic competition. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

If I'm not back in five minutes... wait longer!

We agree to disagree then, it is considered a sport in my book

Sport schmort. If trolling is a sport, H1s would be Michael Jordan...

my h2 was just a tahoe...but while I wasn't looking those sneaky gm and hummer engineers chopped a foot off the length, added 6 inches of wheelbase, 2 inches of track width, doubled (tripled?) the approach/departure angles, bolted on metal bumpers and skid-plates, and added a bigger engine and tires.
hmmmm?

seriously though, I don't care if people call my truck a tahoe...that way I can suprise the **** out of them when we get off-road.

I was actually thinking about going wheeling with this guy until he opened his mouth and committed the Cardinal Sin of calling the H2 a Tahoe.
Plus, he worries me with his horrendous spelling. I just know that he'd be playing the soundtrack from Deliverance when we met him.
Bad speller + "playing in the woods"= trouble that is usually only found in prison, gay bathhouses and backwoods hick parties. No thanks, none for me.
