hi yes i did endup moving to a after market system. but this one is in perfect condition with the lastest dvd maps 4.1 . the only thing you would have to get programed i believe would be the vin number. your dealer could do that. and that should be it... let me know if your interested.. or have any questions... thanks...!

Hello,
New to the forum and new owners of a 2003 Hummer H/2. I know this thread is old, however maybe you or someone could answer a question for me with regard to the factory GPS antenna location? I just purchased a complete kit as you had for sale and I need to know where the antenna mounts in the truck. The antenna cable is short so I am assuming it must go in the dash close to the radio mounting area? Any guidance you or anyone could share with me would be great.

hi . the antenna is located in the dash on the passangers side kinda behind where the on and off is for the air bags. kinda hard to get to. but you could probably install it to the right side of the navagation unit.. some one here might have a diagram for you . good luck.

i might have a diagram somewhere. ill look around.. their was i think just one screw that held it in place. i think you can reach the area when you have the nav unit out.. it would be to right side.. i think any place in the area would work fine. it would be under the area were the light sensor for the head lights is.

Thanks...I am going to try and get it installed tonight? I 've been told it is ready for plug and play. Already has my VIN programmed etc. Should be fun!

should be fun .. youll enjoy it once you have it setup.. its not hard. you shouldnt have a problem. i would just set the antenna somewhere under the dash. should be ok. hope it works out for you. after the nav youll probably want to do all kinds of things after looking around this sight youll get alote of ideas.
