Guys,
Still on the lookout for an 05 SUT to replace my (much missed) H2 SUV.
What should I realistically expect to pay for an 05 SUT - lux spec - with Sat Nav - and say in Black??, with around 10000-15000 miles on the clock?? (Would be considering White and yellow as alternatives - and the more spec. the better!)
I've seen several on E-bay and the prices seem to vary substantially!! - I've also seen a couple at dealers and their prices seem to be in the high 40's!! - Or would I be bettr off trying to get a deal on an ex-demo 06 model?? Bearing in mind that some dealers might not want to sell me a "NEW" truck because I'm going to export it.(And there not supposed to sell to anyone who is exporting).
What should I be prepared to pay?? And where's the best place to look???
(And if anyone knows of a nice SUT for sale let me know won't you!!)
Thanks in advance!

Purchased mine in April(05 sut lux) w/out NAV for $43k. It was from a private seller which is where I would look. He was getting rid of it b/c his wife yelled at him everytime he filled it up! Had 11,500 miles on it.

Thanks DCBerry - $43k sounds about where I though for a private sale - probably $5k more from a dealer?
My problem is that being in the UK it's hard to do a deal on a private sale - albeit that I can easily fly over, and pay once I find the "right" car!

I bought a 4 month old 05 SUT lux in pewter, nav, with 4400 miles for 47K from a Mercedes dealer that took it in on a trade.

Guys,
Thanks for the info.
I have been offered an 05 SUT LUX in Black with NAV and a few other options - 11,000 miles for $48,000 - is this a good deal???

I can't say, but, by comparison, in Feb., I bought my '06 Adv. w/. 200 miles no nav for $51K with a GMID and a fair amount of good negotiating and playing the dealers off of each other.

Assuming the condition is decent, that would indeed seem to be a great deal.
I appreciate this thread folks! I live in the frozen north of Canada, and am trying to find a H2. There are no dealerships no used ones local to me, so I am trying to combine a flight to a vacation spot with an online purchase. It has helped hearing discussions about resale, etc., since my experience is so limited, and without any H2 experience I feel a bit knowledgeable talking about them after having read through the site so much!
Cheers

I'm not sure if it's a good deal or not?
Having monitored e-bay auctions over the last month MANY lowish mileage SUT's (LUX Spec) remain unsold (or miss the reserve) at $41k (ish).
$42k for a 12,000 mile one sounds about right to me.
