Hello all!
I just wanted to drop in and say hi. I've been lurking on the boards for a little while and my wife and I finally went out and picked up our H2. It's a 2006 H2 w/ adventure pack. All blacked out except for mirrors of course and badges. We also got the 3rd row seat because of our growing family.
here's a couple of pics. Bad pics I know but just wanted to show off. Better ones later once I get a fresh coat of wax on it.
Roof rack barely cleared the garage entrance! :o I think it scraped the first time coming in.

Congrats and welcome! Looks like you have about as much clearance as I do. :) You may want to take off the racks...if you're barely scraping. If you have the airsuspension and have the vehicle loaded up, and drive in...then empty the vehicle...the next time you start up, if you don't wait for it to level back up...you may get more than just a scrape... :)
Congrats and welcome.:D

fab ,,, one more thing....if the door operator has a small antenna wire hanging down.... make sure it can;t touch the truck in anyway... i've seen this trigger the door to close sometimes......not a good thing backing out...........best thing to do is mount a mirror on wall in front of truck so you look out windshield and can see the position of door before backing out........gl with new rig......soft...

Welcome aboard bro. I've got the same truck in a 2005 model. Mine has 16,000 miles on it and it has been perfect. Every switch, every fitting, everything. Mine is 100% stock except for a Warn winch and a Gobi rack.
Hope yours treats you the way mine treats me.

welcome. I also thought I was going to take out the garage the first time I pulled into it. But the 1/4 inch was plenty to spare.

Good points softtailjc! That wire does touch my roof rack. I'm going to fix it so the unfortunate doesn't happen. Also my garage opener does have an adjust thing on it too. I think I'll try to mess with that today. Thanks for the tips!

There should be an adjustment for the rear stop and if you scraped the bottom of the door you can have it pull the door in just a little more to get the bottom an inch or so higher

LOL, classic picture :D
.
Yep. Goes in the Hummer Hall of Fame, for sure. Despite the garage accident, he still made CO wheeler of the year that year.
Good idea ;)
