I am not from Kauai but we will be back on the Island in September. I will be backpacking Kalalau again while my wife and a friend are staying with in Princeville. We will be there Monday Sept 18 and going to Maui for a week on Sunday the 24th.
We love the Garden Isle and will be hanging out beachin, snuba, and eating good seafood, If you would like to meet up just let me know.
Aloha and Mahalo.

Saw this in Maui... As big as it was, I'm sure it didn't need a ferry to get to Kauai...lol.

Yeah man, it was. It was a lot of money too. Almost 64k. Of course, being on an island, that may have been a steal.
Too big for my tastes....looks cool though.

i just came from maui too and i saw this H2 at a used car dealership..it is tall and very expensive!!!!...i am keeping mine stocked...i take off the rear tire carrier once in a while and go on without a spare tire..i really like the look of the back without the spare tire, only problem is no light for the rear license plate at night...

Arman,
Sorry about not stopping in. By the time we got back down Waimea Canyon and After the Salt Ponds Beach we were running late to get back to Lihue for the Luau.....The wife and her friend were anyway . Anyway we didnt see the Armory either.
I think I did see you tonight though....near Lihue. Were you gong north around 8:00 PM?
I will be a Robs Good Times Grill in the morning then we catch a flight to Maui after that...for anohter fun filled week.....so if you get a chance maybe I wil see you there (Robs). If not we will catch you next time...we decided we are finally going to do it....look for property on Kauai....it only took three years of cinvincing. If we find something within the next 18 months I will be VERY HAPPY!!!! I love your beautiful Island and cannot wait to start spending longer periods of time here.
Aloha and Mahalo. Til next time.

I hear packer. It's funny, when Amy and I went there, it was nice and all but not quite as much as paradise as we had expected.
Like about every other person I have talked to, I was told that if you want to see paradise in Hawaii or any other island, don't leave the resorts... otherwise you will see the rest of the island and how it is.
Nonetheless, we only spent 10 days there and now we wish we were there.
I can't afford to do anything about it now but I'm with ya about finding property. It's expensive but if I start now, perhaps I can retire there...
When ya get to Maui, check out "little beach" in Waleia or "red beach" in Hana. (clothing optional beaches...)
My wife absolutely hated it... she said she reluctantly went there and by the time she laid her mat down to lay on (she left her bathing suit on) I was butt naked. She said she was never so embarrassed. :giggling:
Enjoy your visit.
