Seriously guys, Ive had a lot of SUV's and trucks, and the hummer is nearly perfectly what i need. BUT BUT BUT why cant they give us the dam diesel (duramax) option. I would be willing to pay for it, and im sure most everyone here would also (but im not willing to pay 30K+ for a conversion, although i cant say it hasent crossed my mind).

I know, the transmission, transfer case, blah blah blah. Just give us the dam option and rape 8K out of us for it.

Is there anyone out there that does not want a duramax in there H2?

Won't happen on the GMT-800 H2. After the H2 goes to the GMT-900 platform, look for a non-Duramax diesel, either that or a Duramax without the Allison tranny.

All i hear about the duramax is good things....strange. I dont see why GM wont give it to us ASAP as they KNOW we are all willing to pay for it.

John:

Where did you get the switch to allow full NAV controls while driving  and how much did you pay for it? Will it work with the factory NAV unit and what mods if any will I need to make on the NAV unit? Thanks!

Don't bet on a non-Duramax diesel. Why would GM buy somebody else's engine when it owns Duramax outright?

putting a diesel in the h2 would be a very smart move, probably sell a lot more, the added expense for the diesel would also pay for itself in fuel consumption

Were getting close to getting a new ride and unless H2's have a duramax soon , i think i'm going back to a suburban. But i plan on keepin the H2 around to tinker on . I plan on squeezing a duramax in it if i get in the mood. Why dont you put a Dmax in yours on your own instead of hiring someone else? Sounds like you really want one. doug
