I figured there would be a plug in the hatch of the H2 for the missing licence plate lights on H2's with the factory outside spare. WRONG.
No dam wires there, unless im missing somthing. Great, this will be fun running wires all the way into the hatch.

I saw in your mods that you have a "switch to allow all nav stuff while driving" whats the deal with that???
Thanks, Mike

For safety reasons, NAV functions disable when out of park. He's found a way to defeat this feature.

Real easy, just put a switch on the gps wire coming out of the nav radio.

Exactly, you duct tape a 2d cell flashligt to your frame above plate and turn it on when in motion. I knew a guy who did this and ran it for years. Sometimes the simple solution is the best, The Rebel. Get your D cells by the crate.

Why put a switch? Why not just bypass the brake safety wire. Mine comes on all the time and I don't need some useless switch.
Of course, I do have 3 switches to flip from camera to camera to camera....

John, why not move your plate to the bumper. You can use your wires from your tire carrier. It'll take you all of 5 minutes to do this. PM me if you want pics and where I got all my stuff from.

i will take some pics
It'll cost you. :D
Here's what you need.
Go to AutoZone or Checker.
You will need one license plate frame and one license plate light. (about $10.00). I mounted the light to the underside of the tire carrier with two self tapping screws and heat shrinked the connection also.
Than you just have to drille out two holes for your plate and bolt them through. I took some touch up paint wher I drilled- so no rust in teh future.
If you are going to remove the tire carrier you mount the light just above the your new frame too.
Since I wanted the 5th rim to show and didn't want the carrier sitcking through the rim, I just took the sawzall to it, grinder, and than painted it to match.
Here's a pic from the SUT I had. It the best pic I have of it mounted up close.

I can't spell my own name! For the licence plate lights i just picked up a few billet directional bolt lights....put them to the sides of the plate. Works dimly since they should be mounted on the holes that hold the plate down, but thats not a bad thing....dim licence plate lights are good =).
For the wiring i was thinking for 20 mins then i had a girl that was over just tell me "hey, why dont u just hook it to those clearance lights". DUH! Forgot they were mounted on the hatch part. Took 5 mins....works perfect.

Hey I know how to answer this one.
(1) Its OK we know blondes are the smartest creatures on the planet. Definetly not true.
(2) We only listen to womens ideas cause if we don't we would never get any. True statement.
(3) Mens thinking is so complex and womens thoughts are simple that is why they usually see the easy answer. Close but still not right.
(4) I'm sorry. Yep thats the answer.
