Finally got the fabtech lift and now Im broke. I wish there was someone out there (colorado) kind enough to want to trade for stock rims and tires that only have about 700 miles. The tires are stock size goodyears. Lets make a deal..... or partial trade.
This hummer is going to look goofy lifted with stock tires so please help...:crying: :o

Dude, if you think you're going to get big'uns cheap, you got a eye opener comin'...

I paid $2K to replace my STOCK sized rims and tires with good chrome and capable rubber. 37"s were a lot more expensive, let alone if you go bigger than 17s... Hell the Procomp Xterrain 40/20s are $650ish per tire...

Good luck, though! Post pics when you have 'er done!

The stock wheels don't have the required backspacing. You need at least 4.5 to 5 inches of backspacing.

Captain is right! You are not going to find big tires cheap. I paid $350 per tire for my 38x15.50x18. Wheels are how ever much you want to spend. I think mine were aruond $129 per wheel. I wanted something cheap so when they get scratched up wheelin' you can replace them pretty cheap.

Captain and H2 doberman, I spoke with tech support from fabtech and was told that you could run factory stock rims with the 6" kit. So where did you get your information?

They might be thinking of the RCD kit which is almost identical to the Fabtech but I believe you cannot run stock wheels with that kit (the RCD). I could be wrong.
