Just picked up some new 37 x 13.5 Toyo Open Country MT's. I have heard these are super quiet. I am gonna take them on a 1800 mile trip. How many miles should these be good for roughly.....any ideas?

sorry couldnt resist. Honestly I have no idea. Alls I do know is that make sure to rotate them religiously and monitor pressure. Thsi will assure you get the most from them whatever it may be.:beerchug:

We put about 4,500 on our 38" Toyo Open Country MTs round trip from SE Virginia to Moab Utah, and the truck was wheeled pretty hard and broke some stuff throwing off alignment, made it back and drove them summore with no problems.

Overall, including the trip; I think 11,000 were put on them and they still did fine and could have gone a lot longer. Having done regular alignments and rotations every 3,000.

How long do the stock all terrain T/A's usually last?

Mine have about 18,000 miles on them, still have 1/2 tread left and I have lots of torque steer. When I punch it, the front tires drive toward each other and it sounds like I am doing a bit of a burn out. Think about how hard THAT is on tires all the time! With proper care, you should be able to get 35-40,000 miles out of them!
Enjoy, I will NEVER buy a different tire for my H2

We have about 15,000 miles on our MT's and have rotated them every oil change. We have not had any uneven wear. They have about 2/3 of the tread left. They are a really good tire.

Gotta tell you I am waay impressed with these tires. THey arent really any more noisy than the stock tires. Since I had Super Swampers on it before, it is noght and day difference. I went ahead and had them force variance balanced and got them filled with nitrogen instead of air. Overall, very pleased so far (knock on wood)
