Boy, with the bad news and all, I don't see these making it into the 2010 model year, so get em new while you can?!...

The black chrome limited edition sounds nice... I am curious to what the Carbon Black Metallic paint looks like... With only 1800 produced worldwide, this might be the one that holds the value "if" the Hummer brand is done...

I like the 20 inch wheels on the black chrome model. I get 11 and a half (that half is very important to me, I never just say 11)mpg around town with my '06 H2SUT and on a vacation to Burlington, Vt. we averaged in the high 12s and 13 mpg on straight stretch of highway. I guess the fact that the stated mpgs are coming from the new higher horsepower engine is somewhat of a factor. I think the H2 will at least be around till 2012, the length of time that it bought the AMGeneral licensing for.

After years of waiting, the heated steering wheel is finally available in the 2009 H2.

Hummer is building the perfect H2 (in my opinion).
The Black Chrome Limited Edition will include black chrome 20" wheels, lots of other black chrome, and the heated steering wheel.
BMW has a Carbon Black special order color . . . it is beautiful.

Now if I can just figure out a way to park it once a week in the downtown parking garage . . .

I'll be joining you guys soon.:beerchug:

I have an 08 and can't get much better than 14.5 at 55mph on flat road. The lie o meter says 13 most of the time. I tried to get a K&N filter, don't make for 08 and exhaust system, none I have found. My brother in law ia an engineer for Wix Filters and says the filters for 03-07 H2 and 08 are the same, just different numbers. Also, he did a flow test on Donaldson Filter and K&N for H2 and said the donaldson did just as well. He advised me not to waste my money on just the filter but can't commet on a full cold air system. I also thought about a 50 series Flowmaster Muffler. The pipe size looks plenty large. About E-85, I wonder if Hummer will offer a reprogram to 08 to allow E-85 use.

Gotta admit the rear captain seating and the color matched hood, and molding sounds nice.:clapping:

Here is an explanation:

Thanks for the heads-up. PIG is actually an acronym for Product Information Guide, which is the document this and every other GM product release is from. However, given the climate around the HUMMER brand these days, I'll make sure to get that changed.

Cheers,

Please forward my free 09 to my local dealership for picking up on that. I'll pick it up there :fdance:

I knew there had to be some reasonable explanation.

"Third-row seat storage that frees up more storage space in the H2 SUV?s interior"

Anyone have any idea if this means the third row seats fold away to allow for a flat trunk w/o having to remove them? In looking at the pics of the '09's w/ the captain's chairs...it looks like you'd have to remove the seats (as with prior year models) to reclaim a lot of the trunk space.

I have two large dogs and would love the ability for the third row to just fold flat (similar to the '05-'08 second row seats) instead of having to remove them.
