If you are ex-military or have a relative that has been in the military (it seems no matter how distant these days-i.e. a third cousin), I think USAA is hard to beat.

I have Westfield Insurance through whats called Miller and Miller insurance. They seem great except i have no idea if its the best rate around but their service is excellent.

I am new here, but not dumb, driving a Viper for 5 years as my DAILY car, I know what its like "just pay it". Ive never owned a truck, much less, one that is classified as a "commercial vehicle" not sure if that matters at insurance time. With the Viper, there were certain companies friendlier in their rates than others that would not touch it. Im asking here, yes, to save time with my phone calls. Saving money on insurance is not a 'Bad thing'.
Thank you for the responses, I have state farm. I will see what they say before I go hunting further......

A little touchy, aren't we? No one called you dumb. He was joking about "just pay it".
Probably best denoted by the :D smilie.
Relax my friend, you'll find that'll go a looooong way in this place.
Welcome to the forum, btw.

I have USAA as well. I'm not sure they are exactly the least expensive (although they will most likely be close) but they are without a doubt the best! Plus almost every year they send you back a check based upon Company Performance and your insurance cost. Usually from $100.00 to $500.00.
However I am under the impression you either have to be an Officer in the Military, a retired Officer or a formar dependent of an Officer in the Military. Of course I could be wrong!
If you are lucky enough to be able to join you will never ever be dissapointed! They are a little pricy on HomeOwners Ins but worth every penny! IMO

Agree about USAA, they are the best.
Eat - you should qualify through the wife's family. You probably need to call and confirm. He may have to call and give your info so you can join, but it is no big deal. I am with them because my dad is retired military.

Thanks for all the help everyone. Sorry for being so sensitive. Thats me however. We are all different in our own ways. More times than not, my being a 'little' more sensitive results in a positive experience. If I find that button on my body where I can turn off being a sensitive guy, I would:D
Im gonna own this Hummer for a loooong time im guessing, so I look forward to being a part of this forum for a while. I promise not to cause any trouble:beerchug:

Great Post Guys! I am an ex war vet and have never heard of USAA insurance. I will check them out and post my results.
Right now, I have Allstate, and it runs me about $1100 a year full coverage on a 2008 H2.
If USAA has special benefits for veterans, I definately will take advantage. Thanks for information.

$792.38 a year with $250 Deductible on a super customized 2005 H2 SUV with Farm Bureau of Arkansas.
It is covered for full replacement cost including the custom work which with receipts to prove investment FB considers all extra cost is an improvement above what book value is. I and sponsors have put about $125,000 including purchase price of rig $51,736.00 bought May 28 2004. This is a 2005 model.
They are really cool about it all. Could not ask for better agent than the guy I have. He took pics of all custom mods inside and out which he put in file with bill for custom work.
