Hey guys,
Winter is pretty harsh around here, tired of getting my hood and grille repainted every spring. Looking for a bra, and possibly a replacement "winter" grille as the bra does not protect it. I dont care what shape the grille is in, as it will be getting rock chips etc.
Thanks!

Hmmmm....I've never seen a Hummer with a bra. I'm sure somebody makes one though.
What about having the grill Line-x coated and then putting a clear bra on the hood?

I'm not selling mine since I use it when I wheel but I have the Colgan Full Hod Bra in the Carbon Fiber look. I like the Product however Mud gets cought up in the Carbon Fibers of the Bra so I would suggest getting the plain black 1.

My suggestion is to go with a clear 3M bra. Installing a bra is a bad idea on the paint. The constant rubbing will wear on the clear and eventually you'll leave the clearcoat needing to be wetsanded and buffed.
If you use it during the winter where it'll get wet underneath will make it deteriorate the paint even faster.
Darker colors will show the effects on the clearcoat faster. You may not really see it all that well on a white or silver color.
I've had a 3M clearbra on my last half dozen vehicles. If you don't want to spend the money on a 3M, you can buy a much cheaper version on ebay and have it installed cheaply at a decal place or bodyshop that does it.
