After spending add'l money getting a rebuilt allison trans, now I'm forced to break this apart.

ONE IMPORTANT NOTE!!! THESE PARTS ARE STILL ON THE VEHICLE, THE TRUCK WILL NOT BE BACK FOR APPROX. 3-4 WEEKS BEFORE I CAN RELEASE THEM.... just wanted to clarify that.

So here's the breakdown....

2006 6.0 litre engine, (55K miles)
4L65E trans (less than 1000 miles on rebuild with new converter)
transfercase
(I'll throw in a front diff for free)

All for 2500 bucks FIRM. You must pickup... NO SHIPPING.

I'll sell magnuson supercharger for 2900 bucks FIRM.

The supercharger includes the following:

1) Magnuson "J" tube that allows use of a 90mm Corvette throttle body,
2) an "X-link" (allows total opening of the Corvette throttle body)
3) Corvette 90mm Corvette throttle body
4) Volant Cold air intake (on an '06 now, buyer must verify usage)
5) stock mass air flow sensor
6) last but not least, maggie for 6.0 litre.

Any questions, email me at orangecrush03@gmail.com

Thanks,

Mark

Though I'm not sure if I'm able to do this but I'll try....

Anyone that buys the setup will need a tune, right? The truck's ECM has been setup by Nelson performance.

I will call them up and send the ECM and see if they will allow me to change VIN numbers on it.

If they do, it'll save whoever buys it at least 600'ish bucks (I don't remember exactly how much they charge but it's in that range)

No guarantee they'll let me do that but it's worth a try.

Well I offered the supercharger to ya'll first. I put it on a performance truck forum and had 3 people that wanted it within 45 minutes.

Now, if one of them comes through with the money...lol.

Mark,
I have to ask. Was there a substantial difference with the supercharger? If so, were you not happy with the power? Ultimately, I'm wondering why you are going with the diesel conversion over the supercharger. Especially considering the premium that diesel has been showing over gasoline over the last year or so.. I assume it's for more torque, right? I found this setup on ebay...Not sure what you could sell your truck for but it may offer an alternative..

Cheers,

PS.. I'm in no way affiliated to the seller.. I'm actually curious about the vehicle for sale as well.

The power is great on supercharger and now that I added 4.56's, it's even better. Having said that, have you ever towed with a diesel? It puts the H2 to shame.... not even close.

And that's on a stock LBZ that puts out 620 ft.lbs of torque. With the transmission I've had built (allisions don't like anything in the 700-750 ft.lb)and a tuner, I can add another 240 ft. lbs of torque at the flip of a switch and get 2.5 times the gas mileage I'm getting now.

So no, the supercharger simply didn't do it for me. The power, gas mileage and towing ability on my H2 SUCK.... but they won't for looong.

I'm kinda confused about that one. Why is the VIN# on the frame and drivetrain different than the one on the body?

When Mash Motors does a conversion, they still use the H2 frames and change the drivetrain.

Did I miss something?

Anyway, Mash Motors does and excellent job but I want mine done because it's an '06 SUT.

A lot of the conversions I see are on 2003's and 2004's. I think I've only seen (1) 2005 for sale.

Not saying there's anything wrong with it, I just want my own truck done and my frame and body vin # match.
