But just not worth $2k to me. However, I will drool over them when I see them on your truck! /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Anthony, I thought chrome rims are included in the Luxury package or chrome option, what is the difference between your new rims and chrome rims from Hummer Lux/chrome Pack?
BTW, Anthony and family, congratulation on the new Hummer. Bet you love driving Hummer around in crowded Brooklyn, great place to show off the Hummer. Your boys must be the hottest dudes in school now.

There are not currently chrome rims as part of any Hummer package unless it's put together by a dealer. They sometimes do that at significant markup, but the lux package doesn't come with chrome rims.

You mean the chrome package in the Luxury Package does not include Chrome rims? I thought it did. I switched to Adventure pack at the last minute, did not pay much attention to these details after that.
Personally I always like matt black parts, not chrome. One thing I found out in the last couple months is that I save lots of money, because 99% of the aftermarket exterior stuffs are chrome which are off-limit to me.

Hey H2Fan, make sure you get us a picture of the Alcoa's on your rig. I am buying the same and mounting BFG Muds on them. Hurry up now......
Cheers.

Folks, I believe these are forged alloy wheels from the largest aluminum wheel company in the world...Alcoa. These are polished forged alloys, not chrome. They are super strong. It is by far the right stuff for the H2.
Very worth the money. Price them against Weld wheels.
Good choice H2Fan. Send more Pix, Pix, Pix with them on (a taste bit smaller though).

You do realize there are at least two very big fans of Brooklyn on this forum.
What's on Long Island, anyway?

Hey H2,
Can you verify it's polished or chrome?

When I got my H2 with the lux package back in August the chrome rims where not availble. When I went to another dealer the said they could swap mine for a set of chromes they had had dipped at a local shop. I think they wanted about $2500 for the swap. They said they were going to charge me
about $300 more than usual because I hadn't purchased the vehicle from them. They had a stack of chrome rims pre-mounted with all-terrain TA's so they would just swap all the wheels and tires at the same time, no waiting.

Li'l Davis H2,
Was your rim the 8 spoke that H2FAN has pictured? I wasn't refering to the stock rims.

The dealer had chrome dipped some of the orignal factory wheels. For about $2500 he would take your existing wheels and tires an exchange them.
Your wheels would eventually be dipped and re-mounted for sale/exchange with another customer.
Not as cool looking as the eight spoke
wheels pictured.

$2500 for exchange? My dealer's price is $800. For $2500, you can get a new set of wheels like H2FAN and have a spare set to keep or sell.
