:iagree:
...that will prolly be the one with the winch.

03, 05...basically the same. Mostly appearance differences...03s have the amber section on the tail lights, the HUMMER logo on the driver's airbag (instead of 'H2'), and the roof-mounted, shorty AM/FM antenna on the passenger side (instead of the standard length radio antenna at the passenger side vent).

It sounds like the 03 has been outfitted to do what these trucks are meant to do...if you're looking to off-road this 03 will give you a head start on your after-market accessories.

Neither have chrome, I like it black so I wouldn't even consider chrome.

Oh and the 2003 has the updated 2006 model side view mirrors

You should check the thread on Radiator, transmission cooler problems. I think that the early H2's were prone to failure. After reading the thread, I switched to external transmission cooler just to be on the safe side.

I'd go with the 03. IMO lower miles are a selling point, plus it already has the gear.

Good luck!

The fact he 03 has been outfitted to go offroad may mean it has had a harder life than the other. Hard to say without seeing it. The high mile truck may have been a sreet queen while the lower one may have been someones off road toy and be beat up more

Enjoy it! Get it off the black top as much as possible...

...respect the Jeep (Wrangler) though, been tugged my a Jeep more than once...plus, Jeep is part of our AMC heritage.

Get out there...get your sh!t stuck...if you ain't ever been stuck, then you ain't ever really driven your Hummer.

He found keys for everything...

2 for front hitch pin 2 for rear

4 keys for 005 roof rack
and 2 for the 001 light bar

I had my HUMMER dealer make me a key for the ignition but it was cut wrong so they made another one for free and recut the bad one so now I have 3 keys for the HUMMER, and 1 key fob, amazon sells the key fobs for like $30 with program instructions vs the dealer $70 + programming fee
