Had anyone fabricated there own bumpers

As title says... Has anyone made there own winch or custom bumpers? If so I'd like to see a few pics. When buisness slows down this winter I believe I may go buy some sheet metal and go to town with plasma cutter and welder fabricating my own bumper. Something that looks along the lines of a road armor bumper maybe?

HumminNBoatin' had a thread (http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39997&highlight=boulder) about our BA winch bumpers and mentioned something about a guy (Travis) that may be fabricating some similar ones. I don't know if that ever went any where or not.

You can get a weld it your self road armor knock off bumber around $500. Odds are it would be better than a real Road Armor Bumper. Road Ryno is the name their going as out of chicago.
