Hey Ken,
Do you know the owner of the campsite by chance? Every time I call Red Ridge Lake Campground I don't get an answer......

Anyone know the brand of hood cover shown on a couple of the trucks in the pics above? I've ordered the truck shields for the sides but have been wondering what to do about the hood.

Dan and I have the full coverage bra. I took mine off immediately after this trip. I don't like the flapping and what it does to the paint on the hood.
Nice photos! Did anyone ever tackle that hill from the bottom? Mud is so fun! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Do you know the brand and where you got it?
Its made by Colgan. The full cover ones are hard to come by. I found a guy that could get them from the factory. Let me see if I can dig up the name.
I found the guy and emailed him to see if he can still get them. If so I'll pass on his email address.
I emailed Jason the group shot and he came up with an equitable solution for which pic to post. Nice job Jason.
Yeah, but we should be on top. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

I was checking out the Colgan Bra (http://www.colgancustom.com/index.shtml) at Paragon and they are made extremely well.
You may be able to find them here Colgan Bra (http://www.colgancustom.com/index.shtml)
Maybe a group buy is in order!
Okay, here is the bra info:

Colgan Full H2 Bra
If you're interested in one, shoot him an email. I let him know some people might be emailing him about it.
Make sure you ask for the FULL bra. There is a ½ one that leaves half the hood exposed.
He'll invoice you through PayPal and the bra will come shipped direct from Colgan. Mine came in a few days.
Tell him Dan sent you. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
I just noticed that my front plate is gone off the truck. I thought maybe the detailing guys took it off yesterday but after looking at the pics I see it was lost at Paragon. I bet that last high speed run through the mud ripped it off. The screws are still in the bumper. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
Glad it was just a decorative plate! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
That front plate really isn't secured well. I noticed mine hanging on one side after going through deep snow this winter.
But screws still in the bumper? I wonder if someone swiped it???
If you look at the pics above, it's on there at the campground, and then gone after Paragon. So I lost the plastic plate holder and the plate itself. No biggie, I'll get another. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I thought they won't show up in mirrors and pictures? It's a good thing I set the dead bolt on my tent.

Dan, you did lose it at Paragon.
Does anyone have pics of us going UP the hill? I really want those.

Dan -- Thanks for the contact info. I ordered the bra for my truck last night. All set now for the trip to Kinzalow's next week!!
No problem, glad to help!
The only thing with the bra is that it puffs up a bit about where the headlights are. There is no way to get a hook in that area.
I put a piece of the shields tape along the area where the paint meets the grill to keep the bra from marring the paint. Just in case.

Yep. I was already thinking about taping the nose and air cover edges as well. What brand / type tape do you use? I've seen in threads mention of the Duck brand duct tape and the weather seal. Just curious about your preference. Thanks.
The weatherseal tape is probably better if you think its going to get wet. Otherwise you can just use painters tape.

Dan, just wanted to thank you again for the rolls of tape. I owe you beers next time your in the city.
