I was the only one... Where are all the H2's???? Im not complaning.... made me feel like "just not another dime a dozen car/truck" out there... :beerchug:

Thousands were auctioned off on ebay and shipped to buyers overseas in the last gas price hike then followed by the recession.
It's why the price has jumped 3-5 grand for H2's here in the states.

I saw one H2 on the Interstate this past weekend when I made a 500 mile round trip--as I was driving my mini-van instead of the deuce.
For me, it's not cost effective to spend $130 or so on gas for that trip when the van does it for about $80.
Hell, I don't even drive the 2 to work much anymore as that's a 30 mile round trip averaging at best 12 mpg or so. Figure at average $3.40 a gallon it costs me roughly $7 a day if I want to drive it to work. It costs almost half that to drive the mini-van.
I wouldn't be crunching numbers near as much, and never really gave a crap before my wife needed back and hip sugeries with medical issues that took her out of the work/getting paid plan in life. Now I've got to spend my money on surviving and avoid the luxury of driving the 2 very often.
So, take one story of a deuce being off the road and multiply it by however many other people have their stories.
Plus consider that some just don't drive them during the week and keep them in the garage for weekend fun. In addition, you've got relatively low production numbers and attrition--how many are in the wrecking yards now?
We've got to face it---we're driving a dinosaur.
On the other hand, when I mentioned to my sister (who lives in Phoenix) how rare it is to see an H1, she was amazed as apparently they're plentiful out there!

Half of them are here in the Virginia Beach / Norfolk area. I see them everywhere! And even more H3's.

I see H2's out and about here in southern NH and north of Boston. Not a ton but they are around. Feels good not being among the masses.

As I have said before, there are so many in the North Dallas area that it's almost like seeing a Tahoe.
There are about 6 H2's in my neighborhood and my neighbor two doors down has an H1.

Two H2's are sitting in my garage. I have been running mine local and running the van long distance. Since they dont make Hummers anymore, I am making mine last as long as possible LOL

I see Hummer H2's and H3's daily in the Washington DC area. But none have the 6.6 Duramax like mine! Ha! :D

When we drove west from MO on I70 to visit our son in Telluride, CO we saw perhaps 4 H3s and one H2 until we got to Denver. We made stops in Silverton, and Dillon on the way to Telluride and saw a few H2s in both places. Telluride is home to Hummers where over a 5 day period we saw over a dozen different Hummers and more H1s and H2s than I've ever seen in one place. People who have to get somewhere in the snow are aware of how well the H2 performs and how easy it is to upgrade the tires with a bigger snow/mud tire.

There are more H2's in Vegas than I have seen in any place I have ever been!
There are a few H3's I see regularily here in Vancouver, but H2's are a rare site. :dancingbanana:

I agree with many of you on here, I see several a day every day, just don't see any as sweet as mine. :D Seriously though, it seems like in the past 5-7 years, since they went down in price because of the gas, that I see them everywhere now, bout 10 - 15 a day. I remember not that long ago mine used to be 1 of 2 in town, now they are everywhere. Then again, people out here are all hung up on image and one upping everyone else, so I guess its no surprise they are ending up out here too.

There was another thread along these lines last summer: http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41507
I just got back from the Nassau, while there I only saw one SUT (at the airport) and and SUV limo downtown (and, man, was it in bad shape).
