Hey all,
Ok, I am looking for some help to name my truck.
Basically it is a 03 H2 with white exterior and tan/brown interior. It has a sunroof, grill and light guards, no rear carrier for the tire, roof racks and lights, limo tinted windows, power everything and thats about it. (not too familiar with all the options that were standard so...).
I use this as my daily driver and also I use it for my medical calls (as I am a volunteer first responder with my fire department - which means she has flashing red and white lights hidden in the grill and on the dash)
I am looking for something that really names it.
Currently my '99 Triple Black Supercharged Vette is named the Ticket Maker (TKT_MKR), and my '04 Silver Supercharged BMW M3 is named Quiksilver (QXSILVR).
It doesnt have to reflect the color or anything. Just has to be a good name.
I was trying to remember what we called them during the Gulf War, but Hummer and HumVee is all I can remember. So.....
Well know you know everything...... Lets get some good names for her
thanks

If you ever watched Star Trek, the H2's kind of remind me of a Borg Cube. Maybe you can make something out of that.

My wife thinks a white H2 look like a chest freezer going down the road. :giggling:

My grandmother says mine looks like a 'damn delivery truck'. And always wants to know if I've 'sold the damn thing yet'...needless to say, she really dislikes it...LOL.

Taking into consideration my wife's chest freezer comment, she likes the name, "Chesty." http://serve.mysmiley.net/adult/boobies.gif (http://www.mysmiley.net)

Ok so I have had the truck for over a month now, at least. Yesterday was the first day I filled her up. She hasnt been driven in that time, because I have had her torn down doing some little mods and tweaks. As I was pumping the gas, all I heard was "gulp gulp gulp". 75 bux later and it only gave me 3/4 of a tank. And thats with gas being $3.47 a gallon. So I was thinking "gulp" but I didnt think that would be a good name. Who knows......
Does anyone else on here remember when the minimum wage was equal to about 4-5 times that of gas prices (ie. when gas was $0.85 a gallon and minimal wage was $4.75), and now can see that it is only 2 times as much. Just another great example of why our country is CTD.
BTW, if you feel that gas prices are do to the price of oil or refining. Do some research. Look into how much the government (city and state) tax our gas per gallon.

Growing up in Phoenix, we had 7-11 quickie marts with "Big Gulps", monster sized soft drink cups. You could twist a variation of that and go with BGULP, BGGULP or BIGGULP.
I also tryed finding names of planes from WWII like Memphis Belle or something that brings on the bad assness of the machine. The C-130 gunships the Air Force uses are called Spookies just 'cause they're some of the creepiest aircraft in the fleet---my wife got to climb aboard one and hated the feeling she got knowing how much death it had created.

Yeah, I grew up actually in Lake Havasu and Las Vegas.
So I am familiar with the "bGulp" hehehe
Now that you put that I am kinda liking it, but who knows. (I will make sure to give credit when I name her).
As for the naming of the H2 with military vehicles.
I have been trying to find nicknames of tanks and h1s that the military has given for them.
As for the c-130. I think it is an awesome plane.
Sure it might have been involved in death, but that death is the reason why we are alive and free. So personally thats how I served in Desert Storm, and how my father fought in Vietnam and my grandfather in WWII.
That what has occurred is to preserve our freedom.
