my name is Daniel and I come from Germany.
I have a 2005 Hummer H2. With the CD and cassette radio . I like to repair my original radio. I need a new faceplate, display / control board and knobs / buttons. I found this provider on the Internet http://replacementradios.com. Unfortunately this one ships not to Europe. :-(
In Germany there are such parts not to buy. :crying:

Can someone help me?

If it were me I wouldn't get the radio restored. I would just buy one from EBAY. Das ist besser, Oder? Ich hofe das es helf sie.

Thank you for your idea and the german words :beerchug: That was also my first thought because 6-disc CD player is better than a tape. I would like to do that but don't have a Tech2 to teach in the radio. :crying:
The next garage is 250 miles away.
Or should I ask in an Opel (The German brand of GM) garage. These also use the Tech2.
I needed only the memory card. What software version is the right one for this?

Just get an aftermarkey deck. Forget about the stock pieces of junk. You will have way more features.

You are right but I like original. I would make it but which radio support the steering wheel controls? And the adapter for the chime sound do not sound so good. What would be a good combination?

Everything works as origional...doesn't sound or function any different.

ok so which radio is the best to get for the option to have the steering wheel and all to work.

i dont want to sink a ton into a head unit. i dont really need nav but being able to play movies would be nice to

Any major brand receiver should work. I like kenwoods...but it come down to personal preferences. Pioneer would be my second choice.
