2003 Hummer H2

I decided to disattach the speaker to stop the hum, so I pried the speaker cover off. It turned out the speaker was held in place by the cover. When I took the cover off, under elastic strain from the wires, the speaker slid back out of sight in the roof. I can fetch it back by a wire, but cannot reattach the cover. So I put the cover back into the roofing material hole, where it has stayed (so far).

By the way, I now cannot hear the hum: it is muffled by the roof.

When I sit in my Hummer, I feel surrounded by an interior made by Toys ar Us or Mattell. Everything is cheap and shoddy plastic. Everything squeeks and rattles.

Still, I really love my Hummer H2. I am planning a first trip up a mountain soon. The road up is rutted out by a wash, and I will have to strattle the rut.

That is actually the inside ambient air temp sensor, if it cant read cabin temp by being out of place your auto climate control wont work properly

I have always wondered why would there be a speaker over my head when Onstar/radio/nav all run into factory amplifier then into doors for sound.Actually there are two above the drivers seat. I'm assuming one would be the "Ambient Temp Sensor" and one a mic for Onstar.Which one is mic and which on is the A.T.S? Pics anyone? I'd like to tap into the Mic.
