I have read about the problem to turn the wheels (left right) when stopped (with engine on)... I have tried with my 3 cars H2, toyota rav4 and VW SW. Well, I can turn without any problem and without any kind of major forces to turn. Also with a Citroen and a VW golf (In Italy we have this car...) Yes is not right to do it, but if you are during parking is not unusual..
Merry Xmas !!!

I have never had this problem and I believe 99% hare haven't also.
Do you just ditch the H2 and call a taxi?
Take it to the dealer and get it fixed. Or lift some weights.

Ernie, the problem actually occurs only when your tire pressure is low, say below 32psi.
