So my nephew is in town visiting for a few weeks, so I take him to a mall to buy him some COOL back to school clothes(the kind only an uncle, not a mom would buy), and as we are leaving, I see a bunch of people around my H2.
I ALWAYS park as far away as I can(no door dings yet!), so as I'm walking, I notice that they are all taking pictures!
Turns out that they were all tourists from New Zealand, and all 20 of them LOVE H2's. They took pictures of themselves standing outside the truck, seated in the drivers seat(I'm a good sport)inside the rear hatch??, EVERYWHERE.
All of the quetions were asked, price, fuel consumption etc. but the questions were genuine, not in a pissy way.
They were all so happy just to have pictures of my H2 on their vacation!!
Anyhoo, just thought I'd share this HAPPY story and let you guys know that not everyone are Jealous Pricks!!

Thanks HummBob
It is nice to hear about good experiences. i so far have been fortunate not to have anything bad happen. I think it is because of from here i live. It is rural and everyone loves big 4x4 and unusual rides.

Man that's awesome! It's great you were a good sport, too. They'll be saying some positive things about us HUMMER owners when they get home. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I wonder why they didn't want to take any pictures near 1 of the many Jeeps parked at the Mall http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Oh, wait a minute. Sorry, thought I was a jeep troll there for a moment and that was the only argument I could think of http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

The same thing happened to me once. My family and I had been shopping at our local Toys "R" Us store by the mall. When we came out to the parking lot, we were surprised to find a small group of Japanese tourists posing for a quick photo in front of the H2. They were very polite, none of them touched the truck. They just smiled, snapped the picture, and laughed as they walked away. They seemed to be genuinely thrilled to see one in real life. The kids and I just chuckled as they walked away. It was great.

Same thing happened to us. My wife said a few words in Japanese and they hustled off really quick. Later I asked her what she said. She told them to get the fawk away from our Hummer. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif J/K
The same thing happened to me. I was at Yosemite National Park two weeks ago, and this man and his 8 year old son were staring at my H2. I turns out they were from Germany and have never seen an H2 before. I unlocked it, and let the boy sit in the driver seat so his Dad could take a picture of him.
Reminds me of the old days when I had one of the first H2s to arrive in my town.
