Hello guys. Newbie here. I have an '05 Lux Amp I pulled from my SUV. I was wondering how much it's worth or if I should even bother selling it? I'm thinking $150 but not sure.

Maybe you're right. I just assumed it's a Lux amp because I bought the Lux package! Is there a parts dude around here?

Only '03s & early '04s had the LUX Bose amp. Late '04 & newer have the downgraded Premium Bose amp. Someone might want it if their amp takes a dump out of warranty but other than that not sure who would want one since they downgraded it.

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">The Bose amps were changed in mid 2004 to a lower grade model. 2003s have the "LUX" amp, just like the Cadillac Escalades. The later 2004s and the 2005s have the "premium" Bose system. You can tell the difference my the audio selections available on your radio. If your audio selections include "Normal, Driver, Rear, and Spacious" you have the "LUX" amp. If your selections include "Custom" you have the "premium" amp </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I’ve had my ’03 in for service several times in the last few weeks and had various GM rentals including the Tahoe, Envoy, and Trailblazer. All had the premium amp if I can assume this by the fact that they all had the “custom” setting. In every case I did surely miss the stereo in my H2 and now I know why. My sister has a new Yukon Denali and her husband said the stereo in my H2 sounds much better. Again, now I know why. Damn, the more I read on this forum, the more I have to say this is the coolest truck.

Yeah, can you believe Hummer doing that on this price truck. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif Just happy to keep my '03 but you should think about upgrading to the touch screen nav with XM radio. It's GREAT!
