Iam soooooo f*ckin pissed off!! I just busted my windshield for the second time in 14 months! I will now have 900$ invested in GLASS! At this rate I can forget about new BFG's. Does any company offer any better glass vs another??

I have been through three in 8 months... and I need a fourth.

BTW I get my windshields for just under $300 installed. The guy comes to the house to do this too.

you may want to shop around.
The glass is made my the same people that make it for GM. I'm not sure of the name. When I get my new windshield put in, i will get the name for you.

How are they breaking ? Is this from large flying bugs , offroad , or just because ?I have noticed mine has a lot of pitting in a short time (5000 miles) .

I'm in Denver, CO
Boyer Tire & Service
$270.00 plus $20.52 Tax= $290.52

these guys are located in Castle Rock Colorado.
the first one I went to the dealer and they said said the best they could do would be around $600.00 WTF? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif So I just happened to be there when this guy was repairing a chip in a near new H2.

the guy said he would charge me this price if I give him my business for future galss also. He does great work and comes to my house to do the 1 hour job. I catually have to call him this week for another one. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif On a better note, I will be able to see when the sun hits the winshield though.

I will ask him where I can find a list of installers that use the same brand in you area. Send me a PM with your info and I'll see what I can find out for you.

Why do you not call your insurance company? Liberty Mutual has repaired two of mine and replaced one for a grand total of $100. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif
