So this is such a great topic let's hope Jason and Steve don't move it to the lame "General Off Topic Section"
Here's the main question: What is your favorite beer and what do you like to eat while drinking your favorite Beer? This one has legs folks so let's try to keep it in the General H2 section by adding:
What's your favorite h2 accessory to look at/install/polish while drinking your favorite beer? This should work. Let's see what happens.

OK, I'll play along.
I like anything from Bud to Guiness. Bass and Sam Adams are favorites. Bud is good for swilling.
Food to go with it - buffalo wings, mexican dips, salsa, anything spicy. Or sometimes a nice shot of Cabo Wabo is better than a snack http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
And I like to look at my H2 brochures while drinking beer. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Beer: Guinness. but in my old age, my drink of choice is Scotch with a good cigar.
Food: A good old stake. Beef. Give me a big hunk of red, hart stopping, meat
it's also good to look at something naked.... it's doesn't take much, just as long as it's naked.

Well, I love Corona. We have a dwarf lemon tree in our back yard so I'll go pick a new lemon (I know it's supposed to be a lime but WFC) cut it up and I'm on my way.
I absolutely love it with anything grilled or while grilling and looking at a really nice rack (on my H2 http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif).

Ya Corona....good choice. Great for BBQs. Too bad summer is over.

My beer choice depends on the season. Since I hail from portland (more breweries than any other city in the world) I tend to like microbrews. In the summer I like a nice amber ale, like Mactarnahans amber (they serve that on Alaska airlines). In the fall it is Blackwatch cream porter. winter time I like Widmer Winternacht. Spring I like a nice ESB or red. On hot days, and IPA is definately refreshing. Food? I drink my dinner...

I try to keep a variety of beers on hand. Michelob Amberbock has been my favorite lately.
Bud and Bud Light also a regular.
We usually have the grill(Charcoal and Wood) going 2-3x's a week. You can't cook without beer. When the beer runs out...time to eat. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Coors Light. Easy on the system and you don't need a spoon. Also like a nice cold Red Hook.
Anything BBQ'd.
Best place to drink: Atop a recently conquered hill!!!
I like this topic. I drink all kinds, from Meister Brau to Bud to New Castle to Guiness, but I love darker brews. For all the Sam Adams and Bass fans out there, if you ever see a beer called Bishops Finger, YOU MUST TRY IT! It's in English brew that I've come across only in Europe and it is truly awesome.

Big fan of Yuengling Premium Beer or lager in the summer. Stella Artois is a favorite for the summer. Any of the sam adams seasonals. and strict guiness for the winter. una

Guiness here - will travel miles to find it - I have been known to move out of a country for not being able to get decent beer.
And Phil - food isn't the only thing that improves with several beers - my wife met me when she had had a few so I know what I am talking about - I kept her drunk until after we were married.
I have found a great pub here in Fort Lauderdale - The Florida Tap Room - they brew all their own beer to British recipies - from a guy called Allan Gill (my old next door neighbour in England - I mean over the fence - small world). Shipyard Ales - almost like being home.

11% dennis? that's pansy. We have a local beer here that is 17%, an imperial stout. Blacker than midnight, and stronger than Arnold... that's why I hate domestic beers, they taste like water, have virtually no alcohol, and have no complexity at all.

17%?????
That I gotta try. After two kids, Wifey and I rarely drink beer anymore except dinner or during Troll sessions.
I will still favor a good whiskey over any beer though.

I once had this beer at Portland's international brewfest called Sammy Claus. It was some belgian beer, and was supposedly the strongest beer in the world, only brewed on Christmas every year. It tasted like ass. It was so gross I almost puked right there. It was sweet and molassesy but damn, it was so bad. I like the dark stuff too, but damn. that was gross. That is the last time I try a beer solely based on alcohol content. damn Belgians...

Beer IS a health food!! Well, maybe not in the eyes of my doctor who wants me on the Atkins diet...
Oh yeah, I forgot Guinness - the perfect food in some people's eyes...
