So I have the adventure series and it came with the 6 disc Bose Radio. I want to put in the DVD nav, but the dealer said they cannot sell me one for my hummer? They said some security thing....seems weird to me.
On another note...I want to add XM to my radio I have now, but I also have the DVD/LCD monitors, so I want to make sure that is not using my AUX port on the back of the head unit. ( I only think it does because of the headphone light comes on when I have the wireless headphones turned on.) If it is using the AUX port I might have a harder time to put the XM in, or I will have to use the FM modulator...do any of you use an FM mod, if so, how does it sound?
Thanks!
Josh

That's rediculous! Talk with Jason at JP Customs. They can sell you & set up anything you want. JP Customs (http://www.jpcustoms.com) I installed the TNR NAV, XM tuner & 6 cd changer from them. Just give them a call & they'll answer all your questions. Very nice people.

Thanks Jonahs!
I called him, very helpful and friendly. Now I just have to come up with $2099 for the DVD! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
XM, I have to call him in a week to check things out.

You didn't think it would be free did you? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Actually I found their prices competitive or less than the dealer. Plus they know what they're doing!

It's pretty time consumming and about the same time to install either or both at the same time. Hmmmm...hope that's not confusing. What I'm saying is that you have to take just about the same things apart to install either so installing both at the same time is the efficient way to go. I'll shut up now. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Yeah, your right! I just will not have the $ as soon as I want to. I will probably do it all at once, but I have a roady now i am paying money on. ..so that is my main driving force.
