Were taking a 7 Night Southern Carribean Cruise in June and I want to make sure not to miss something others would say is a must see attraction or just something you really had a good time doing...........
I've never been to the carribean so this will be a first for me. I'm really interested in the shopping, I know I'm going to do some snorkeling, and other than that I dont have much planned yet...............
Puerto Rico
Bridgetown, Barbados
Castries, St. Lucia
St. Johns, Antigua
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

All I can say is that you have chosen the best Caribbean itineary available! We've taken that itinerary many times. What cruise line? We took Royal Caribbean to those islands many times. For a first timer to those islands, the 'city tour' excursion is the best way to get an overview. Otherwise, take a taxi into town, walk around, then hit the beach. Ask the Shore Excursion Mgr on the ship for best beach options .. or, go to the shore excursion talks always hosted aboard ship before you get to each island. Good information tips are given. Keep in mind, though, that MOST shops mentioned by the Shore Excursion Mgr give kickbacks to the ship personnel who mention them. Antigua is great for having grilled lobster on the beachs. St. Thomas has good duty free shopping (liquor/cigars/linens) ... a cable car ride up to the top, a great aquarium ... and one of the most beautiful beaches in the world .. Magens Bay. (Stay with others or in the main tourist areas when in town .. I was almost mugged one block past the main 'tourist' area of town.) We love St. Thomas! Barbados ... great beaches, always hot. We usually take a taxi to one of major hotels and use their beach. San Juan ... not your usual Caribbean island .. it's bustling, like a city. Go to the rainforest (though, a long tour), or, to the old city walls ... walk the main part of old San Juan and visit the shops, take a ferry across to Ponce where Bacardi has their rum factory and tours. Sorry, got carried away with this. LOL. We love the Caribbean. Stay away for the cruise lines 'party boat tours .. usually called the Kon-Tiki party boat tour. All everyone does is drink cheap rum punches in the heat and dance the limbo. Sounds ok until you get as sick as dog afterwards from the heat and cheap rum .. and then you waste the next day of your cruise feeling sick. All of your islands are great picks. Carry bottles of water to stay hydrated. Is this your first time on a cruise or to the Caribbean? You're going to love it. What cruise line? Have fun!

No doubt about it ... you have also selected the best cruise line to sail the Caribbean. :D Awesome cruise line. If you have any shipboard questions, don't hesitate to ask. I'll try to answer. We've been on Royal Caribbean many, many times over the years. :D

Whenever I'm in the Carribean I always like to make a stop off in Hell. Its on Grand Cayman, if any of you ever get a chance go to Hell. ;)
