My door chime got real loud overnight .
Is that a factory chime or would that go through my eclipse system and the on star chimes adapter installed with the radio?
How could it be adjusted lower ?
Why would it change ?
any help would be great.

if you took out the factory radio then an adapter was installed to keep the chimes. So the chimes are not going through the eclipse but the adapter/interface between the eclipse and the wiring harness.
I used the peripheral, and i think it cannot adjust the chime volume, just the onstar volume, not sure.
Which adapter/interface is used in your truck? Check to see if it has an adjustable knob or something like that, if it does maybe it somehow was readjusted. Other than that I am clueless.

Im not sure were they mounted it,there are some boxes added to the right of the radio and also I seen some inside the end cap on the dash(looks like they opened up a hole there behind the cap.
Ill have to call the installer if no one else has any ideas.
Thanks
