Oh by the way the new placement of Hummer beneath the front grill gets covered up almost perfectly by a brush guard... :(

The interior is 10x better than the old one, rear AC for 2nd and 3rd rows really helps out alot. The ride is 10x better than the old one its really smooth.

I had to pickup a bridal party when one of my limos had a problem this week and fit 3 full size guys, one bigger guy in the 3rd row, and they all fit. 8 people total, rear air vents in the roof for the 2nd and 3rd row worked great they said the air was awesome in the 3rd row.

HID lights are not an option, which is CRAP because the escalade comes with them STANDARD. Its not even an option. Displacement on demand is not on the car as far as I know, which is also CRAP, because other GM cars have it again the Escalade.

I seem to be getting about the same gas milage about 12.2mpg but I dont have my airaid air filter and corsa exhaust put on that I took off the 03 H2, that should bump gas a little. But I have noticed times where the car averages 16-18mpg but overall its been around 12. I dont use alot of highway driving personally, but when this car is chaufered with my limo service that 5th and 6th gear should help out alot.

I'll post more pics once install of all the extras once we get more done. :)

My customers request entertainment in all our cars / limos. Alot of runs for an unstretched hummer like this are homecomings and proms. I like it, its great for road trips too we take with the family once a year. That space was unused nothing went there, the cupholds and storage bin are on the other side. Not to mention I got it for really cheap from a guy who had it in his boat and didnt want it anymore :)

A hummer isnt really about being practical anyways :)

congrats on the new rig. I got the black leather in my 08.

I've not seen the sedona in person. It looks odd in the pics and its sometimes hard to tell from photos since the color isnt always true. Whats it like in person? With the back exterior i'd imagine its sharp as hell. But with the slate blue that I have....dont think it would look good.

Thanx guys! Mike , congrats on your new 08 also. With your slate blue , black interior was a good choice. I special ordered this truck with the sedona / sierra interior. When I seen it I liked it even better because I had the choice of this or another black h2 with black interior they had on the lot too. Black with black interior was just too dark for me, it needs a little color.

The Sedona / Sierra whatever the color theyre calling it is , reminds me of a baseball glove after it just got oiled. I think its really nice.

I've had a black vette with a tan interior and it was nice. My dad's 06 SUT is black on black, its sharp but like you said a different interior color sets it off a bit.

Mine is going back in the garage tomorrow to have a PCM replaced, the dash lights are going out when the headlights come on....kinda a$$ backwards on how they are supposed to work.

Did you find it odd getting used to the 6 speed tranny?

How often do you come over to pittsburgh? There is a local limo guy that has a white H2 limo.

I think the 6 speed is great, its maybe a little awkward when rolling under 5mph it seems to not roll as much as the non 6 speeds but I think its pretty good.

The only thing I think not working is the homelink system. All my other h2's have had it and had no problem programming them. The 08 has them in the visor now and I cant get any button to program on either of my garage doors at home or at the one at my office. Any luck with yours?

We're in Pittsburgh every week several times. We do about 50 runs a week on avg so we're always there. I'm not sure what city your in but if your in our operating range and ever want a night out on the town in a h2 limo let me know I'll give you a deal :) Its pretty cheap if you split up the cost between friends as low as $40 a person :)

Hucky, I got GMID pricing from an awesome member of this forum. So it was a set price no negotiating. Pretty much all the 08 H2's are over 60k though before negotiation.

the interior color is siiiiiiick. that sucks that the Hummer beneath the grill gets covered up by the brushguards. i still think they should have kept them on the grill! the rig is siiiiiick though!

Nice Wheels:)

Thx guys. I actually want to get something like polished aluminum rims or stainless steel something that can go thru an ohio winter. I have to take these rims off in a month or two before snow and salt comes cause the salt will rust the rims.

Anybody know of any rims for the h2 that would look like chrome ie stainless steel etc but wont rust / you can use them all winter long?? It really sucks not using the rims for 5 months of the year.

Also if I find some new rims I'll probably be selling these rims if anybodys interested, chances are I would keep the tires for the new set of rims.

Beautiful truck, inside and out. :beerchug: My only gripe: you could toss a salad in one of those rims! :giggling:

What was GMID pricing on your configuration?
I can't get the GM Family First site to build an '08.
