$1 US = $.99 Canadian

Never seen this number since I was 7 years old 30 years ago.

Border crossings going into the US are 3-4 hours long now because of great shopping. Canadians can now afford the cool American stuff.

Oh, I've been meaning to post about this. Not suprised the canassian beat me to calling attention to it. You all must be so gleefull that you don't even realise you've pissed yourself. :giggling:

In currency trading the USD/Canadian dollar trading pair is called the Loonie, no doubt about which side was on the receiving end of that reference, but I think perhaps we're the ones starting to look like the butt of the joke.

Don't worry though, Mr. Bush will be launching an invasion north of the border soon enough. :giggling:

But just let us gloat about for the short period it's up there OK?:fdance::D

Next year when it goes back down, you guys can go back to calling us Northern Messicans.:clapping:

Many Canadians have been coming to VT to buy stuff. I work at an outlet mall, and they come into my store and tear the place apart and talk French at me and are generally rude...

Must be a Montrealian thing! :giggling:

I remember 30 years ago when Canada had decent health care.

I also remember when we could listen the radio here and not hear Canadian singers. :D
