I just got a Kenwood SR-902 Sirius tuner so I want to add the KNGM1. I was just curious whether it has had any technical problems like the initial PIOGM1 version1 did.

I'm going to use Sirius for one of the inputs and use the other for an iPod.

Does anybody have one of these adapters? Installed one? Any thoughts, reflections or warnings will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Well I should be receivin mine this week, I am planning to use it with the kendwood keg, I will let you know how it goes, but according to soundgate they have taken care of all the bugs and it should work the same way as the XM one. You just have to wait a second for the sirius signal to get dowloaded. On another note there was a thread on installing the IPOD in the H2 using this adapter..Good Luck

Erod-

Did you ever get your iPod installed? I'm anxious to see how it turned out. My project is still on hold until Soundgate works out the bugs and quality control issues.

Longhorn,
I still have the KNGM1v3 in its box since I havent had time to take it to the technician to have it installed. But hopefully I get it installed this weekend, I will let you know. On the other hand, What are you planning to install? Because I am putting in the Kenwood KEG, not the IPOD. for the IPOD you will need the PNGM1v3. Well thats what has worked for the other guys here.

I want to use the KNGM1 so I can get Sirius (for the Jamband Channel). I should be able to hook up the iPod using RCAs into the Auxilary input of the adapter instead of the MUSIC KEG or CD Changer.

I think.?

But Alpine is comming out with new Head units that will control an iPod through AI/Net, so who knows? There is a lot of new iPod car integration on the horizon. I like to know all my options.

Let me know how things turn out.
