Aligning the lights depends upon the bulbs/buckets. The light spreads are different anytime you make a change. Used a little pen laser to "gauge" the angle of mine on the garage wall and then backed further and further away from the wall to see how the hot/cold spots were.
I then when onto a flat dark street to check it out compared to the road surface (how far down they are shooting, how much light loss, if it would be blinding the oncoming traffic) And made adjustments accordingly. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
PAragon, I changed out to the Silverstars and they both point to the same spot in the center of the lane you drive in. But both focal points of each headlight point on top of one another.
So, I was wondering if they should be nex to one another and how far apart and than how far out. I will adjust, I don't want to blind traffic though. That's what the PIAA lights are for. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Personally, I don't like that main part of the beam overlapping. I also don't like a gap of dim in between. So I make that adjustment on the street because it can fall pretty far out in front of the truck.
But you might want to move the PS out first. So you don't risk turning the DS into oncoming traffic.
