03 ROOF ANTENNA

I am thinking about putting the antenna on the roof like the 2003 H2. Has anyone done this?

I did do it, but it got ripped off while driving through a parking garage. The H2 is just barely short enough to fit in most parking garages, and i've heard ppl do that, and it rips off in carwashes too. So if you dont mind staying out of carwashes and parking garages then you shouldn't have a problem with it. another complication is drive through windows, although i haven't tested that myself.

I have my CB intenna mounted on the roof. It has a slip coupling on it so that I can lay it down most of the time. If you are interested in pictures, I can take some and post them. I got the idea on on here I believe. Someone did it previously.

the whole idea came from a guy that put his cb antenna where the radio antenna is now - i was thinking that would be something that would like to do.
