When I asked him, I thought we could get at least 10 people. If you go to the link, it doesn't say anything about it so I guess go ahead and order. From what I've read on here, he's already sold 5 to people on the forum.

Hope this helps.

I want to but I'm somewhat reluctant to do the install myself.
Even when I had the ipod connector hooked up by the dealership's tech....the front plate that covers the head unit - they tech bent it at the bottom....so they had to order another whole center piece....as it's one big piece...the brush aluminum piece as well as the air vents....

needlessto say, I'm not confident enough to pull the trigger to disassemble the cover without bending the bottom piece of the cover (which is the brushed aluminum part) it's very flimsy....

your pictures are great, but it doesn't show exactly where you pull and use a covered phillips head to get to the 1st clip

Hi i used a plastic tool for removing trim any thin hard plastic piece will work, start at the bottom inside corner then do the other side and work your way up. Look at the picture of my install.. Start their then the other side. The trim is not hard to get off. Just take your time and be careful.

So has anyone installed this on an earlier model h2 yet? Is the on star system in the same location? I just read a cadillac forum where his was in the trunk. Guy said the only problem he has ever had was his alarm went off and he could not explain why. he is still unsure if bluestar had anything to do with it.

Is the system truly plug in play? thought i read something about some chip or something that needs to be connected?
