Hi when i was buying a blue tooth unit, i talked with a guy in ca. all he does is sell phone stuff and he told me the scosche blue fusion had some problems to and he sells them. The scoshe blue fusion will not work with a lockpick gmx322. So i bought a bluestar and it works well. What problems are you having with the new bluestar 2010? Email Chris at Costar he will help you out if your having problems here is a link techsupport@costartech.com

i was also going to get the gmx 322...

i think the probs that i am having with the 2010 are because it is brand new. I was able to connect my cell, make a 1st call using the steering wheel button (white telephone button does not work at all, for voice dial), stereo mutes perfect, but after that 1st call, the stereo no longer mutes, the sound does not come through the car speakers, the bluetooth system does keep working however (meaning the calls are being made and are connecting, but the sound doesnt come through the sound system anymore, cant hear holding the phone to your ear either)

the gmx 322 has a onstar lock pick build in i believe... so maybe that is the way to go, with a bluetooth device

He will get back to you, its new and may have a few bugs. Did you check all the settings in your phone? What phone do you have? Using the gmx322 their is a mute stero wire, but their was only a few bluetooth units that would work with it and some you still had to make the call from your phone. You may also have to add a mic. with most kits and they will not be using the onstar buttons like the bluestar. You may have to add their unit and put it on the dash or somewhere.

Hi Scott, Chris has done a few changes, its all in one box and has a USB plug for software updates later. It has replaced 3 units he used to sell. He is going to have caller id after he has some feedback on the new kit. I am working on getting the new one but Chris doesn't have any right now, i think in a few weeks he should have some more units.

I am installing my Bluestar 2010 model this weekend. Should I wait until the bugs are worked out? I would rather not take things apart twice if I don't have to.

Hi would install it and run a USB cord out the side or back, so if he has any updates you can download to the bluestar unit.
