A friend of ours is a performance eng. He swears by this
http://www.boschusa.com/AutoParts/SparkPlugs/PlatinumPlus4/
He says he got a least 1.5 - 2 more MPG than with stock plug. All manufactures use cheap plugs he say. With a new air intake and these plugs- it is the cheapest and more for your dollar to get better MPG..
Now to find the part number.

Let's use some common sense thinking with this one. If GM could spend just a few dollars more per vehicle and be able to advertise their gas mileage 2mpg higher, don't you think they would? Part of the reason the H3 engine is lacking a little HP is because they are concerned about gas mileage and the Hummer image of being gas guzzlers. If a single spark plug change would do it, then GM would have, but go ahead and spend the money if you don't believe me.

I've got a bobble head doll of Lee Iacocca (sp?) that I plan to duct tape to the dash of my new H3 when it gets here. A friend of a friend of a friend said he heard from the man behind the man behind the man that if you rub the bobble head doll every time you get in, you'll get 3 mpg improvement and 20 HP. Nothing like a little fuel efficiency karma to get things started right.
I've found that the best way to increase mpg in my Toureg is to cut the floorboards out and push it along with my feet. This also has made my legs huge. This should work in the H3. Especially in conjunction with the Lee Iacocca bobblehead.

When you use your feet, do you find the urge to yell, "Wilma!" (Sing it with me know: FROM the...TOWN of Bedrock...)
I usually keep the sunroof open, put the H3 in neutral, fart and let force of nature take over. Get's a few extra HP and MPG too!

Well, hell, I have had to keep the sunroof closed lately, and now I understand the change in the environment in Dallas, is you.
H30H, let me know when it is safe for my sunroof to be open.
